Kevin Zucker is in today to sign his book Inner Truth. He wrote to tell me bit about the book

“In 2005 I came down with Lyme Disease. Western Medicine wasn’t able to help, so I began to look for alternatives.  I became more and more fascinated with what I found, so I kept on researching. The wounded healer archetype caught me in its web, and I discovered that we are not dependent upon doctors for our health. Health begins within. That is the first Inner Truth. This book is a journal of the discoveries I came upon. This book is for someone in a similar situation, who desires to be well but may not know where to turn. Our medical system is set on overkill. Either you get surgery, or pharmaceuticals, or antibiotics. “Inner Truth” discusses gentle alternatives that allow individuals to take control of their own health and well-being. “Inner Truth” gives you tools for an open-ended search, for each person to find for themselves.”

READER’S COMMENTS: Inner Truth seems like the tip of the iceberg, a slim volume that covers a wide range of subject matter. That is, the subject matter is huge but it’s all unified. Better than just a “survey”- a synthesis of alternative health choices, including  - Ayurvedic Healing  - Essential Oils  - Diet and Exercise  - Sound Healing  - Healing Touch & Massage  - Acupuncture  - Extensive Chapter on Flower Remedies, including list and uses  - Herbs  - Artist Healer Shaman  - Meditation & Yoga  - Light as Medicine  - Stress  - Book of Changes  - Musica Humana & Musica Mundana

One quality of the book is the high idea-to-word ratio. It treats big ideas compactly. Much of the book is directions for action, so the doing-to-reading ration is also high. That means you can dip into the book over and over, coming away each time with something to concentrate on. In that way the book builds up.

While there are some unusual concepts that may sound foreign at first, the book is full of suggestions that have proven valuable in recovering health, concepts that are refreshing and practical.
