What’s new at Ukazoo?
Since so many of you were stopping by first thing in the morning with books to sell, only to find that our buyback was not opened yet, we have gone ahead and extended our buyback hours. We will start buying books when we open at 10am Monday – Saturday.
Lots of exciting books are coming in, new and used alike. On the new fiction, check out Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie by first time author, Alan Bradley. He won the Debut Dagger Award from the Crime Writers’ Association. I am not sure there has every been a Debut Dagger award won by someone 70 years old before.
Tim Dorsey is at it again with Gator a Go-Go. Vigilante serial killer Serge A. Storms is taking Florida by storm again, this time at Spring Break. If you have not read Tim Dorsey before, he write mystery/humor on adrenaline. I always end up in tears of laughter with Serge. You can find out more about Tim Dorsey at his website.
On the non-fiction side, Gretchen Rubin brings us The Happiness Project. As she says on her website, A “few years ago, I had an epiphany on the cross-town bus. For the business reader and fans of Purple Cow, Seth Godin returns with Linchpin: Are You Indispensable? Godin wants to teach us how to make a huge difference in whatever field you choose.
